We got a chance to find out a little more about SeanFresh, new sexy sound out of the South. Read an interesting, funny interview with D’Boe Suave, and be sure to check him out.

Where are you from?

Sean: Little Rock, Arkansas
How does where you grew up relate to who you are?

Sean: It has everything to do with who I am. The area where I grew up in Little Rock, I watched a lot of niggaz die from violence. Unfortunately it has made me cold to life and the troubles of the world at times, but it also made me pledge to myself and God that I will always give 110% in all that I do until my work on Earth is done.
How does it relate to the music that you make?
Sean: It affects the drive that I put behind my music. I’ve experienced a lot, so I chose to use my words to bring life. Plus my voice is too high to be singing/rapping about murking niggaz off.
When did you decide to be a singer?

Sean: Ummmm…Long story, my brethren, but peep game. Well, in high school, I had NO GAME. My game was really at a negative 10. Now don’t get me wrong I was always FRESH but when it came down to putting words together to show a female just how much I wanted her to be my girl or at least wear a nigga chain or jacket to class…Well I had NO WORDS..BUT I noticed that whenever I would participate in talent shows or whatnot, then the ladies would immediately attach their hips to my pelvis afterwards. Cool. That’s when I noticed that I may have found a substitute for being GAME-LESS and coincidentally decided to be a singer.
But on a serious note, it was really a near-death experience that occurred on May 16, 2006 that changed my mind set and direction ultimately to pursue my dreams as an entertainer. That night, I was involved in a nearly fatal multiple car wreck. During a long recovery process, I realized that tomorrow is not only not promised, but is pretty much what you make of it. As the cliché’s became real, so did my quest to LIVE life not just exist within it and pursue my dreams as a singer.
What did your family and friends think?

Sean: My dad wanted me to get money so I could buy him a Black Escalade. My mom wanted me to use the platform to ultimately spread the word of the Lord (not sure if she really paid close attention to the lyrics in my songs). My brothers/friends always showed me love. My family understands that I have always be the dreamer in the family so they just encourage me to keep God first, and the rest of my desires will be added.
What is your sound and style? Who is SeanFresh?
Sean: My sound brings something hard, yet smooth. I call it D’Boe Suave. SeanFresh is an artist; an artist that is forever changing and always bringing a FRESH approach to music and life. On the inside, SeanFresh is really just a little kid named Ro-Shun that grew up in the hood as a dreamer, and I have to give all that I have to prove to that kid that dreams really do come true.
What have been the steps in your musical career?
Sean: I have taken huge steps in my music career. It is for real a blessing that God has set before me the right people at the right time to assist me in this sojourn. I started with the game plan of collaborating with the best talent in my state (Arkansas) and getting the attention of their crowd by killing their songs. It worked. From there, I was shown a lot of love from several major publications across my state and NYC, and have had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Snoop, Ne-Yo, T.I., and Kim Burrell to name a few. From there I was introduced to a strong marketing team, IAmTheLife, which is tied into Brian Rikuda’s (BET’s Ultimate Hustler) who now handles my marketing. Oh and I got a dope team of publicists (Publicity Pieces) to make sure that I keep my FRESH up and don’t talk about murking niggaz off all the time while I continue to make huge strides to the top.
What are some acts, projects, shows that you have been a part of thus far?

Sean: I really don’t get into acting and crap because most roles that ask for a sexy, black and dreaded brother would probably included a “Monster’s Ball” love scene and since I am trying to avoid the sex tapes until I need to promote my album or trying to get a reality show then I just stick to singing.
Now with the singing, I have been featured on DJ Chuck T’s Sexxplicit R&B mixtape series, DJ Vlad’s Unsigned R&B Starz Mixtape series and several regional mixtapes. As stated before, I have had the opportunity to share the stage with a array of stars from Ne-Yo, T.I., Too Short, Kim Burrell, Snoop Dogg, Deitrick Haddon and more.
What sets you apart? What does SeanFresh bring that can’t be found anywhere else?

Sean: You can always find someone that has similar talents than you. Nothing is new under the sun but I can promise that no one will ever be a better SeanFresh than me. I am the last SeanFresh that was made.

What are you currently working on?

Sean: An R&B/Soul masterpiece called FreshLove.

Who do you look forward to working with in the future?

Sean: I dream of working with Babyface, Tank and Brian McKnight. I believe that my dreams will come true.
