We spoke to a very unique and talented musician today, BenTone. Born in South Carolina but now an Atlanta native, we speak in detail about the life in both cities, and go into detail on why BenTone decided to make a move for education, a now permanent one.
Also being able to play three instruments, BenTone is a triple threat – a mean vocalist, excellent music player and exceptional songwriter.

Monday, November 1st 2010 will be a day that members of the church worldwide and Bishop Jim Swilley will never forget. It was on that day that Swilley came out of the closest, revealing his sexual orientation as a member of the gay community. Sabrina Hale, of Jonathan Hay Publicity/Hoopla Media Group, sits down with mega-producer Focus, who made a cameo appearance on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
In the episode, Kandi Burruss is seen attempting to coach Kim Zolciak on the vocal arrangement of her next aspired single “The Ring Didn’t Mean A Thing” while in the studio with producers Focus, Blue and Selasi.
Kim, the notorious former mistress of her married lover known as “Big Poppa”, struggles to emulate the challenging vocal pattern Kandi demonstrates and blames it on the track, saying she’s just “not feeling it,” which ultimately spurred a cat fight between the wannabe pop star and the Grammy award-winning songwriter, producer and singer, Kandi Burruss.
Focus weighs in about working with the reality star and what really went down behind the scenes.
